Ice Age II
Another Ice Age is upon us it seems - I really do hope that it is just a mini one!! Mini or not it has proved too much for Market Rasen who were forced to abandon todays meeting yesterday afternoon, with 3 inches of snow on an already frozen track. A real blow for The Oakley Partnership as Bobby Gee is in great form and the race looked like a good opportunity to consolidate on his last effort, (it was also worth £10,000)!! Southwell off yesterday as well, and it looks as though the ground will be against Ogee tomorrow, - if indeed the meeting survives, but he does need to run very soon to give him reasonable time between now and the festival. All in all very frustrating, and it is back to the programme book to try to find suitable races!!
