Memorable 24 hours!
Fingers crossed that we can give Jay Tabb 24 hours to remember this afternoon when his horse Bobby Gee takes on 11 rivals in the John Bigg Oxo Chase at Huntingdon. Jay played all bar the last few seconds of Readings' epic FA Cup tie at West Bromwich Albion last night - a game that his side, Reading, won 3-2 after extra time. It really was a gripping match with 2 goals in the first 10 minutes, another in the first 5 minutes of the second half and a Reading equaliser in the third minute if injury time at the end of the scheduled 90 minutes, the winner coming from a great 22 yard effort in the first period of extra time. I spoke to Jay just before the match and he was really looking forward to starting the tie as he has been a bit in and out of the team lately, and although it was a late night for them, and they are training today, he is going to do his utmost to get to Huntingdon to see Bobby, and hopefully celebrate another win, but in a perfect world it would be a little easier than last nights hard fought result!!
