Ogee Unchanged
Tuesday morning is the morning that the handicapper publishes his amendments for the previous week. It is a time that most connections hold their breath if their horse has won during that period, and few are ever happy with the assessors thoughts. Today we see that Ogee has remained on 137 despite winning by 20 lengths at Southwell, which for once was very welcome. He has entries in 2 handicaps at the Festival, and ground permitting, will possibly go this route. Disappointing to see that Bobby Gee has not been dropped for getting stuffed at Huntingdon, he was well beaten there on Boxing Day and was dropped two, so why not this time? It just sums up our luck at the moment!! - A phone call to the handicapper may be in order.Mattaking and Important Business were shod last night, and will be ridden for the first time in a few months this morning, time to sit tight!! As they have done plenty on the walker at the Kehoes, they will soon be jogging about and having a canter.
