Press Day at Fences Farm today - sounds very grand, but does in fact signal the visit of Mark Beasley from the Northampton Chronicle and Echo, who is coming today to do his piece on Ogee prior to next weeks festival. The ground is drying out all the time at Leicester (currently good, good to soft on the flat crossings)so it looks as though JDV will be a runner on Friday, he will also be entered at Plumpton on Monday. Grassfinch seems to have come a ton for her debut run at Fakenham, and has an entry in the Listed Bumper at Sandown on Saturday. There are only 14 entries, and although there are some nice mares in the race it does not look the strongest of heats, and she may just pick up some all important Black Type if she runs.
