7 year old grey gelding, purchased this spring at the Horses In Training sale at Doncaster. This horse was an expensive purchase off of the flat in France a couple of years ago and now although still a Maiden over jumps, has a hurdles handicap rating of 109. Looking at his form, we think that he will benefit from freshening up at Fences Farm, and then running over a slightly longer trip than he has been running over, which will hopefull bring about some improvement in him. Mrs Robeson has done a fantastic job with Kikos who we purchased at the same sales last year and we are very hopeful that she can do the same with this boy. He has had a veterinary examination when he arrived at Fences Farm, and is now enjoying a few weeks in the field before coming back into work in early July. There is just one share left to lease, at a cost of £175/month (all inclusive) The term of the lease is July 2009 - May 2010, (but will be reassessed in the event of injury etc) with an option to purchase a share in the summer of 2010 at his Market Value (independant valuation).
