We will be keeping our fingers crossed that the forecast cold snap does not claim Musselburgh tomorrow! Why???! I hear you cry! It is beacause Mr Webber has kindly declared Lemon Drop Red to run there tomorrow instead of Kempton on Saturday against Montegonian! Lemon Drop Red ran a corker to be 20 odd lengths in front of us at the Sunbury track late last month, and we would have struggled to beat him back there on Saturday, so if Musselburgh is on and he runs, we are in theory one place nearer the front! Sam was very impressed with Montegonian when he breezed him off the top of the gallop earlier this week so fingers crossed we go well.
