I am pleased to announce the creation of another Racing Club. We have had so much fun and success with Kikos and Omaruru that we are rolling the concept out to another horse that will be in training in the next few weeks. This scheme is going to differ slightly from the previous ones in that the new horse will be an untried filly and for that reason payment terms will be jigged so that members of the new club will only pay for her when she is in training at Fences Farm. Let me explain - the new horse is a 4 yr old filly by Kayf Tara out of Suave Shot. Her sire Kayf Tara was 3 time champion stayer, and 2 time leading UK based National Hunt sire. His progeny include Grade 1 Punchestown Gold Cup winner Planet Of Sound and recent Hennessy hero Carruthers. Her dam is a once raced half sister to top class hurdler Grey Shot, who was unlucky not to win a Champion Hurdle - top class 2 yr old Opera Cape and the very classy Night Shot. She has the pedigree to really do the job. She was broken in as a 2 yr old at Fences Farm, and returned there last year to continue her education, everyone liked her. In the past I have purchased horses with known form to run for the clubs, but as she is a totally unkown quntity I feel it is only fair that club members are only asked to contribute when she is actually in work. This means an initial period of lease only, this way if she needs more time until she gets to the track, or is off games for any other reason then memebers are not paying for nothing. Members will of course be given first refusal when we feel she is ready to go on the market. Club terms remain the same - £20/week all inclusive, free to drop out when you please (no fixed term) and you receive 4% of any prizemoney she wins. Please email me - info@nickbrownracing.co.uk to put your name down or for further details.
