With so much to reprt it is a job to know where to start! Of course there is only one place to start - and that is with Justazippy! A great win for this tough and consistant mare, who made it 3 wins from 4 hurdles starts on Friday afternoon in Doncaster. Given a peach of a ride by Sam, in a race that was not run to suit, she went away after the last to win nicely. Congratulations to her owner/breeder Michael Lawrence, who although having owned lots of horses in the past is having the time of his life with 'the family pet' - trained just down the road from his home! Zip will be asked a more serious question next time but who is to say she will not be up to the task.Aeschylus tried to get the double up in the concluding bumper, but was just run out of it to finish second. Now placed in 2 bumpers he will be given time to fill his not inconsiderable frame, and will come back a bigger and stronger horse next season. He is a smashing prospect. We have just heard from the handicapper and he has revised Omaruru's rating to a mark of 114 - which means he will get in the 2m 5f handicap at Warwick on Sunday! He worked very very well with Ogee on Saturday, and although probably a bit on the tubby side he will go to Warwick. Smart Exit who also worked well on Saturday will be entered at Chepstow on Saturday (3m maiden and handicap) and Warwick (same race as Omar) so we may well have 2 runners in the same race - 1st and 2nd?????? Colebroke (Fred Winter) worked very well with San Telm and we are very much on course for The Festival with him. San Telm will have entries next week.Kikos did 2 canters and moved well - he just loves his work! With one tough filly (Justazippy)in the yard, Stuart is picking up another one today when he collects the new Kayf Tara filly from Michael and Fionas.
