The new filly was long reined on Tuesday afternoon, and ridden yesterday. She has a certain amount of spirit, which she will need when she gets in a battle up the finishing straight, but yesterday on her first ridden trip out of the yard this year she behaved impeccably. She is a smashing filly and I am really looking forward to seeing what she can do! On a slighlty different front - I have for some time been thinking of starting a Greyhound ownership syndicate with the help of Dog Racing expert Dave Yates (Smart Exit/Omaruru). Dave is going to start the hunt for a decent dog through his vast network of contacts built up over 30 years in the sport. Dave has had many dogs, with a host of top trainers, including being one of the first men to have dogs in training with legendary handler Charlie Lister OBE.
