Sorry for the lack of recent updates - since the last one, Omaruru has had his first run back since his near death experiences, and went well, finishing fourth in Haydock. Over the minimum trip we needed the juice to stay in the ground - but it dried up and he was tapped for toe. He will improve for a step up in trip, and we will look to go again with him in 2-3 weeks time, when some rain would be very welcome. He is fine after his run and will improve no end for the run! Ogee went to Newbury, where he was pulled up after an odd incident at the cross fence, he is in great form and despite some brief words regarding retirement, he will be out again soon, possibly over hurdles. Reyno went to Stratford on Saturday, and let himself down a bit by being a little bit naughty. Alice did a great job, and when finally teamed up with Jimmy he ran an OK race to be fifth. He will have another run in a bumper.San Telm has been put away for the season and has gone to Michael and Fiona Kehoes where he has joined Smart Exit. Colebrooke has also headed there on his holidays and we very much look forward to getting them back after their well earned breaks.The Kayf Tara filly is cantering nicely and I, along with three of her new owners, was thrilled to see her canter in the big string for the first time on Saturday. She looks very ahletic, and shares are still available in her!! The 3 yr old Overbury has come to Fences Farm today to be re-broken and ridden away. He will stay for a few weeks, and do a few canters up the gallops before going out to grass again until later this year, when if giving the right signals at home, he may head to Ireland for a point to point.Kikos is in rude health, and worked well on Saturday. He will be entered in Chepstow on Easter Monday (9th). Other entries for the weekend are Aeschylus, Grassfinch, Norse Wren and E Major - looks like a fun weekend ahead!!
