It has been like a dessert around here for months, and now, just when we get Kikos entered, it bloody rains and snows!! TYPICAL!! Saying that - the ground in Chepstow is Good to Firm/Good in places so it will take a drop or two, and it looks like being predominately dry after today. Fingers crossed he gets his ground, as the race looks like it could cut up, and he could get a nice seasonal debut! News on the Greyhound front - we have been put onto a decent dog, that won his last race in Ireland (from 4 runs) in a good time. Resident 'dog' expert Dave Yates tells me he looks like a decent sort that will be ideally suited to Henlow and Peterborough, so hopefully we can get him across and see what he is like. I have 1 share left in this venture - so if you fancy something 'a little different' then give me a call. The three year old Overbury that I bought as a foal is now in at Fences Farm - to do his secondary school. He is a fine big horse, had front shoes put on him yesterday and went for a walk up the drive. He hasn't forgotten anything, and it will be interesting to see how he goes on - he has the pedigree to be very decent! I keep saying it - but the Kayf Tara is very nice - don't miss out 07909 518902!!
