It's bloody raining again! Stuart says ' the gallops are floating' - it really is horrible out there. In a brief respite from the rainy season yesterday we headed down to the Hunter Chase evening in Cheltenham, as guests of Hilary Butler and Tom McCreadie. We had a good fun night, although my head this morning is a bit like the weather - not very clever! On the home front the only news is that Honeycreeper is an intended runner on Saturday, she may well have the assistance of some headgear. Please remember that final entrys for the fillys name have to be in by close of play tomorrow, we have had some really good suggestions, and I will make the draw early next week. On the cricket front, please note that the date for the Charity match against Eversholt has been moved from June 1st to June 22nd, so that more folks can get there. The Greyhound venture is progressing, and our first dog, Apollo, has had his first trial at Henlow, and did a very acceptable time over a sprint trip from a middle box. He will do 2 more trials and when graded he will be on the track proper. He looks like a very nice prospect.
