The wet weather over the last week meant that we watched the horses work slightly differently on Saturday morning. Instead of going on the sodden woodchip they camtered away on the grass gallop, and all moved really well. Kikos lead them up with Ogee and the filly in behind with E Major whipping them well. All went really well, and have enjoyed the different regime over the recent wet spell when they have been slopping around the farm in the water! The deadline for entering the draw to name the filly passed on Friday, and we had some really good names put forward. This morning I did the draw and the name that was first out of the hat (actaully a kitchen mixing bowl) was........ Tara Dancer. Congratulations to John Bartlett who put the suggestion forward, we will crack on and get her named this week.
