I know I have mentioned it before, but now is the time to start putting together the cricket team to face Eversholt on the evening of Friday 22 June. I already have a few names but would very much appreciate if those that want to play could get back to me so that I know how many we need to fill the side. I will be trying to get a few jockeys down for the evening, and I am sure it will be the roaring success that it was last year!! Dave Garratt at Eversholt has promised to get extra stock in the bar, and if the weather holds out it will be a great night out again.There will put on another hog roast, and the beer will flow freely. This year all the funds raised will go to The Injured jockeys Fund. Quiet times at Fences Farm. With only and handful of horses in work it is a shame that 2 of them look like having to take each other on. Ogee and E Major both find themselves in the same class over hurdles, and with limited opportunities over the summer it seems as though they will line up alongside in Southwell on June 12th. Tara Dancer should join them on the lorry for that night as well.Tannerman will either have his breathing done or run this month - whichever is sooner. I am thrilled with the way he has settled, and believe there is a lot more to come from him over a trip!
