Saturday 2 June
All our owners must be a very patriotic lot!! For the first time in many many months I had a very quiet time on the gallops this morning, so I can only assume everyone was making preparations for Jubilee celebrations this weekend. The horses worked in pairs this morning - three lots. First lot Tara Dancer worked up alongside E Major. She is a very different type to EM and worked well - her target remains the mares bumper on June 12 in Southwell. EM will join her there in a handicap hurdle. After breakfast Ogee worked with The Fonz. This was a very interesting piece of work, and TF is on course to go to Uttoxeter on Thursday evening. Ogee will be joining EM and TD in Southwell on the 12th. Third lot Kikos worked up once with new boy Tannerman. Kikos is Kikos, and always does his thing, so he was a good guage for Tannerman, about who we are still learning.Tannerman went very well with our old yardstick which gives us great hope for the future. A plan for Tannerman will be hatched over the next few days, but he could well be making his debut for us next weekend in Worcester, where there are a couple of options, so if you would like some instant fun then please look him up on the For Sale Page, and give me a call on 07909 518902, or email me on info@nickbrownracing.co.uk He is a lovely horse that looks as though he could be well handicapped and is very likely to improve as he gets older and gains experience - remember - he is a 3 parts brother to Turpin Green who was third in The Cheltenham Gold Cup!!
