Probably the best I have witnessed in my lifetime - Frankel yesterday put up his best performance in winning the Queen Anne. He was just devastating in demolishing a high class field, in a time that warranted a closer look. He was 0.69 seconds outside the track record. That track record is held by Godolphins Invisible Man and was set on a day when 3 records were broken which would suggest that the ground was quicker than the official Good to Firm. Frankel yesterday posted the only sub standard time on ground described as Good to Soft! The record holder also carried 8-9, which is 5 lbs less than Frankel yesterday - so all in all - it goes to show just what Frankel achieved yesterday! Rain tomorrow, but dry for the cricket on Friday. Unfortunately we won't be seeing the cricketing skills of Sam Jones this year - as he has not deemed us worthy, despite being his biggest supporter, and Fences Farm giving him most of his winners last season! He is off to Ascot! - wouldn't have needed a top hat in Eversholt! On the plus side, maybe we stand a better chance of winning, or, perhaps we should put Stuart in again just to give the hosts a chance!!
