It has arrived - the day of the annual Eversholt CC v Nick Brown Racing XI cricket match. The weather, although pretty much un-June-like, may just stay dry, but it looks like being a 2 jumper match. This is always a great night with plenty of beer, and pork rolls! All in aid of The Injured Jockeys Fund. As it is for this very worthy cause it is a shame that our number one jockey can't be with us (he is going to Royal Ascot), as a lot of the owners like to get the chance to have a chat with him away from the racecourse (and laugh at his cricket)! Pop down to Eversholt if you get the chance - it all gets underway at 6.00pm, but I am sure we will be in the bar until well after dark!!
