Thursday 26 July
Who will win this afternoon? Big question, as the 4.35 looks to be contested by 6 horses with not many 1's in their form figures. It could be perfect for Kikos. The ground will be ideal, as they are only watering the hurdles course, and our boy seems in great form, so round a track that he likes he should go well. He is quite a price, but that is based on his last performance that was disappointing, but there was a reason for that, and he now looks back on song! The Fonz ran well yesterday, but as is always the fear in a level weights Novices Hurdle, he ran into a good one! The times of the races look as though the ground may have been on the soft side for him as well, and he will return to winning ways shortly. Smart Exits', already good form took another boost yesterday when Courting Whitney who was behind him in his Chepstow bumper romped home by 13 lengths (easily) at Worcester. He has his op on Monday, and when he comes back he should be winning plenty of races!!
