Michael Kehoe rang yesterday to report that Smart Exit and Tannerman are both progressing very well after their breathing ops. They are healing well, and, all being well, should be back at Fences Farm late next week. They will then be tacked up and continue on the walker over the weekend before being ridden the following Monday. They will have a few days tacked up (but not ridden) on the walker so that the girth area can harden up, and not lead to problems down the line. As mentioned Tannerman will only be walked and trotted for a few days before he cracks on cantering! Smart Exit will be a month or so before he starts to quicken up, but he is suited by soft ground so this is not a problem. Looking forward to having a few folks over this weekend - it is starting to get going again!!
