Today we will finally have our full compliment of horses back at Fences Farm. Tannerman and Smart Exit will return from Michael and Fionas. Both have had breathing operations over the summer, and we are looking forward to getting them back racing! With the attention to their wind they should both be capable of winning races, and should climb the ranks as they are both well handicapped now. Tannerman has been on the walker for a few weeks, and will not take long to get fit. Smart Exit has done a little less as we do not really need him ready until November. Thanks to the Kehoes, who, as ever, have done a great job with our lads during a very difficult summer. Their contribution to what we do is often forgotten, but they provide a vital service in looking after our horses before their careers begin and also providing a holiday home (recuperation facility) for those that are providing us with all the fun on the racecourse. Thanks very much! Kikos is entered to run in Hereford next Thursday (race time 5.30pm) he is in great form, probably as good a form as he has been in all summer so we are pretty hopefull of a big run. The trip is 2m3f, which is a bit further than he usually goes, but we think at his time of life it is what he needs, and indeed if he does stay it will mean that we have a lot more options for him going forward!! Fingers crossed!!
