Monday 15 October

With plenty of engagements this week it looks like a busy few days. Tannerman kicks things off tomorrow in Huntingdon, where he makes his debut for us in the 2m 4f handicap chase. The wind op we gave him in the summer seems to have worked well, and we are keen to get him going now he can breathe properly. He will be ready to run, but will come on for the outing. Colebrooke is next up on Wednesday. He worked very well with Ogee on Saturday morning, and we are very excited about stepping him up in trip. Unfortunately new boy Benefit Cut will not be making his debut for us on Thursday, as he has scoped dirty this morning and it will take a few days of strong anti-biotics to clear him up. A real shame for his joint owner Howard Cooke who has booked a box at the track to entertain staff and customers, and will not get to see his horse run, but BC is just too nice a prospect to risk by running him when he is under the weather. Ogee and The Fonz are entered in Cheltenham on Fiday, and Kikos will (ground permitting) have his last run on the track before heading off into a well earned retirement on Sunday in Kempton.
