Thursday 14 March

Although Tannerman has entries in Uttoxeter (Saturday), and Southwell on Monday - it looks very likely that he will not be running in either venue. With rain forecast - it is a fair bet that the ground will be too soft at both, and added to that the race in Southwell looks ultra competitive! We will have to be patient - Ted is in flying form, and we think that when he runs next he will run very very well - so we have to have as many things (within our control) in our favour as possible. We would like to think that he will very much repay our patience!! Benefit Cut has entries in Fakenham (tomorrow), but he will not run, and Kempton on Saturday. His participation on Saturday will depend on the ground. If the rain misses and the ground is suitable he will be declared, but it will be in the lap of the gods if he makes the cut as he has a very low ballot figure. He will be entered in Warwick next week, along with Smart Exit in a 3m 1f handicap hurdle. Sadly San Telm will miss his engagements this weekend and will not be entered for Haydock next Wednesday. Colebrooke will have a bone scan next week. Great racing in Cheltenham yesterday, and it looks good again today. I fear the bookies may get a bit of a caning again today, with a few favourites going in! My selections are : Dynaste, Close House, For Non stop (each way), Oscar Whiskey and Ballynagour. Good Luck, and don't forget if you are gripped by Festival Fever, and would like to get involved in racehorse ownership, you just need to pick up the phone (07909 518902) or drop me a line info@nickbrownracing.co.uk - just £20/week is all it takes - give me a call - your first runner could well be your first winner!!!
