Benefit Cut gets a day out in Kempton tomorrow. He will contest the opening novices hurdle with Brendan Powell in the saddle. He looked unlikely to get in before the weekend, but a raft of the entered horses ran over the course of the last 2 days, which has enabled BC to scrape in. He seems in good order, and we will adopt the same tactics that we emplyed last time in a jumpers bumper in Southwell (where he hated the surface). He will be bounced out in front with the hope that he will drop the bridle a bit and if he does so he will run well.
