Christmas Twentys next outing from Fences Farm will be to the Goffs UK Horses in Training sale in Doncaster next week. He will go under the hammer to dissolve the Chicheley Partnership that own him. CT has run a total of 9 times during the 2015/16 season - finishing runner up twice, along with a third and a fourth place. He is 100% sound in wind and limb, and a maiden under all codes. He has a BHA rating of 115, and with another summer on his back will be a cracking horse to go on with next winter. He goes on all ground, and although disappointing last time in Kempton, it is felt that it was one run too many for the season. He is only for sale to dissolve the Partnership. A good afternoon yesterday, despite the hit and miss weather - when I managed to catch up with Ben Turner, and we popped over to The Elms Stud to see the horses there. Savingforvegas has settled into her new career well, and has scanned in foal to Blue Bresil. She was scanned with a good heart beat, and will have one more in a couple of weeks to make sure all is well. She is a wonder mare really - she does nothing but try to please in everything she does - such a shame her career came to a premature end. At the other end of the spectrum, Ben got to see his 3 yr old Top Gary. TG was purchased last year from France, and has developed into a really nice horse. He has recently spent 6/7 weeks with Stuart at Fences Farm, and came on leaps and bounds. Stuart was very impressed with him, as although he is still tall and weak, he shows a great deal of athleticism, and is a very bright prospect. Also up at The Elms is Molly Childers. She looks amazing, and is a cracking looking filly. She is the boss of her lot, and is a tough cookie! There is just a single share left in this very well bred filly, who will return to training in July - details are on the For Sale Page.
