A long and busy day in Doncaster at the Goffs Uk Spring Sale. Over 200 store horses - unraced 3+4 year olds through the ring, and quite by chance we have purchased one! Hadn't really considered buying at this sale, the first store sale of the season, but we had spotted a lovely 3 year old filly, and when she went through the ring and looked outstanding value, I just had to put my hand in the air. She is by the top class stallion Flemensfirth, the sire of outstanding horses such as Gold Cup winner Imperial Commander, multiple Grade 1 winner Tidal Bay, along with Flemenstar, Time For Rupert and Joe Lively. She is out of an unraced half sister to the equally top class Macs Joy, who was the winner of 9 of his 31 races, including the AIG Europe Champion Hurdle in Leopardstown, beating Brave Inca, and was a mere 1 length behind Brave Inca in the Champion Hurdle itself. Her dam is by Old Vic, and that cross has resulted in some super horses itself - including Noble Endeavour. She is a smashing filly and will be offered as a whole or in shares. Details and photos to follow, but please get in touch if you would like further details - 07909 518902, or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk - she is outstanding value!
