Saturday 4 February

Good to see a couple of new faces at Fences Farm this morning. Ryan was in with, Ryan and their pal Craig (Not Ryan). They were in to see Land League. Before they arrived, first lot was made up of youngsters, along with Grey Warbler and Focusing. The youngsters and GW all did one canter, Focusing did two. The 4 yr olds, Kingsley, Top Gary, and the Flemensfirth filly all went well. Stuart rode the filly this morning and was really pleased with her! After the lads arrived, and were joined by Ollie (Apasionado) we saw Land League do a lovely piece of work with new arrival Domesday Book, with an eyecatching Chandos Belle in behind. CB worked really well and will have entries in Uttoxeter (Saturday) and Plumpton (Monday 13th). She looks in fantastic form. In front of them Molly Childers worked really well with Wolf Of Windlesham, and has and entry in Huntingdon next Thursday. Maria's Benefit looked in great shape too, and will be aimed at a race at the end of the month. Also out second lot was Tricky Silence, the horse that has replaced Sneaking Budge, and we liked what we saw - he has a very big athletic stride and really covers the ground. He will do!! (Bottom Picture) Third lot, Ereyna was out with Kayla, along with Paddy The Deejay and Piquero. Cloonacool along with a couple of others had a day off. Legal OK and Apasionado just cantered today as they made the trip to Lambourn yesterday for an away day piece of work. Both worked really nicely, and will have entries later this month. Brendan Powell rode Land League, and Cieran Gethings rode Apasionado - the boys were really pleased with both!
