Like London Busses, you get no entries for ages, and then 5 all at once! It has always been Stuarts intention to have a quiet spell at the start of the new year, and plenty of the horses that appreciate better ground will not be seen until the very end of the month at the earliest, but there are a number that do like plenty of juice in the ground, and it just so happens that a lot of them have been entered to run next week. Chandos Belle is entered in Fakenham on Monday, there are plenty entered, but the race looks like it should cut up a bit, but as a back up, she has been entered in Leicester on Tuesday. Sneaking Budge will have an entry in th same Leicester race, and is the preferred runner there, but CB could go if for any reason SB doesn't. Leicester looks like being a busy day - with plenty of them getting an entry there. Kaloci will be entered in the mares novices hurdle - she has always schooled really well, and after her superb run in Huntingdon on Boxing Day, when she earned valuable Black Type in a Listed Bumper, we are all looking forward to her starting the next phase of her career. Pull Together also gets an entry in the 2m 4f Novices Hurdle that opens the card. PT has been in good form since his last run, and worked very nicely on Saturday.
